User Research

useresearch.jpg

I implement a variety of user research methods to help me understand users needs, pain points, behaviours, workflows and mindsets. I use both qualitative and quantitative methods at the start of the project as well as through a project. Formative research helps me validate product ideas specially in the launch of new products and services.

My toolkit includes:

  • User interviews

  • User journey mapping

  • User flows & scenarios

  • Co-creating with users for problem definition, ideation and coming up with solutions.

  • User segments and personas

  • Service design blueprints

  • Competitor and market analysis

  • User testing: formal lab based testing and guerrilla testing

  • Diary studies, Card sorting

  • Value proposition definition, Context maps, business model canvas, Lean canvas

  • Design Sprints
