To come up with a name for the new intranet, to design a logo for the new IAG intranet and to design the intranets look and feel.

solution

Prior to commencing work on the logo design I ran through a series of branding and brainstorming workshops in order to gain a deeper understanding of the IAG brand and also to come up with an appropriate name for the new intranet.

The logo was then designed by using elements from the mother brand. Before commencing the design of the intranet I created a series of mood/testing boards that were tested on IAG staff in order to find out which photography style, imagery and visual look and feel would best appeal to IAG staff.

The information architects also tested the wireframes for the site thoroughly before handing them over to me for visual design treatment. An interactive style guide was also created in order to make the web developers task more efficient and also to ensure that the integrity of the design remained intact once the designs were handed over the development team.
