The first project involved the logo design for Challengers intranet as well as the design of the intranet itself. The second challenge was to create the visual design for the corporate website as well as the secure investor and advisor websites.

It was important to create a meaningful logo that still had some connection with the parent brand; the Challenger diamond. The diagram to the right and description explains the thinking behind the logo.
Following the succesful design of the intranet, I then went on to design the corporate website as well as the secure investor and advisor websites.

^ Logo design process - the diamond was the foundation of the new intranet logo. I drew the molecules of a diamond and manipulated the image in illustrator gradually a group of people appeared holding hands. I then simplified the logo so that it would work better on a digital interface. The new logos dna comes from the parent brand 'the diamond' and the people in the logo represent the staff working within Challenger. The colour scheme is consistent with that of the parent brand in order to maintain a connection with the over arching brand. ^ Final logo ^ The interactive styleguide contains logo information and files as well as details of screen layouts for developers to work from. ^ Intranet design - The intranet features photos of staff in the top right corner. This helps staff connect to the intranet on a personal level.
